Yep its 5 days to go till the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Well for those of you that don’t know about my LOVE of hockey … Yes I love hockey, college and NHL alike.

On Thursday night, the MN Wild clinched their division and will be in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. (hint on those nights I WON’T be available) I’m a little sad that the U of M Gophers didn’t make it to the NCAA Frozen Four this year. That’s ok because my youngest daughter made my day last week when she announced she wanted to play Hockey in the fall. WOOOHOO!

Ok its been a bit since I posted some updated pictures of us all, so here goes…

Well I had a whole bunch of fun yesterday I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. Actually I have to say it wasn’t too bad .. thanks to Vicodin and other painkillers. 

Dan took care of me most of the day yesterday and he deserves MAJOR kudos points for what he had to put up with yesterday. Yes I’ll admit it I’m needy when I’m not feeling good.

I’m just glad its over and done with so now I can move on and not have pain anymore.

But today is a new day and it just so happens its MY Birthday! It’s seriously hard to believe that I’m 35. WOW! Where did the time go? I’ve been able to accomplish so much in my last 35 years I’m looking forward to the next 35 years.

My friend Shannon (whose birthday was yesterday) and I are having a virtual birthday party for ourselves and we are giving away gifts instead of you giving us one. (If you feel the need to give me one, I won’t stop you)

I just wanted to post an official welcome to my latest neice  and say Welcome to the World .

My Brother-in-Law Guy and his wife, Lisa had their first child , Sophia Karen Munson on Tuesday January 16th . Baby Sophia was born in Maplewood, Minnesota weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long.

I’m so happy that she is here and can’t wait to meet her when we go for a visit. The girls are so excited that they have another cousin. (she makes cousin #8 on the Munson side of the family) Now we await cousin #9, my brother - in -law Pat and his wife Jacquie are excepting their second child this Spring.  I’m certainly getting my baby fix when we go home.

There are no pictures yet of Sophia but once I get one I’ll post it. (hint hint Guy & Lisa)

This Christmas we decided again to stay home in Virginia, just the 4 of us. It was really nice. We didn’t have a White Christmas but it was a great holiday nonetheless. We were so busy right up until Christmas, we barely noticed that there was no snow on the ground.

On Christmas Eve, the girls were in a Christmas Pageant at Church so we were busy with that. (more to come on that later)

On Christmas morning, Kiersten got us all up at the crack of dawn to let the entire house know that Santa had come to our house. The kids got everything they wanted and more. Becca got DS Games, Leapster Games, Littles Pet Shop and of course High School Musical stuff. Kiersten got DS Games, Clothes, Money, and High School Musical too. I have to say that the biggest hit of Christmas has been Guitar Hero. (Daddy got that one)

 Christmas was really low-key and very relaxed. I really loved that instead of the usual craziness that insues at Christmas. Even though it was just the 4 of us, we decided to go ahead and make Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Boy was it good!

Today we are just going to kick back and relax again today. I think we are going to head down to DC to go see some sites that we haven’t seen yet. I was going to go to the afterChristmas sales today but I’m really not in the mood to fight crowds at the malls.  : )

Well as of tomorrow I’m off on a business trip for a couple of days. One of my clients, military.com is having a spouse conference at Ft. Bragg/PopeAFB and I was asked to come and help out at the conference.  Not the most exciting place for a mini-trip without the family, but it will do.

Now I know what you’re thinking… another podcast Tammy?? Well this one is going to be a lot of fun because my co-host is none other than my husband, Dan. WOOHOO! The podcast will start in January 2008 and will be a weekly show.

The name of the show is called “He Said … She Said” and it will be about our opinions on current events. It will a fun show and I’m so excited about it!
