We went to the school’s Fall Fest on Friday night and it was a blast! The event was sponsored by the school PTO and we managed to raise over $3500 in a matter of hours. Of course Dan and I were so busy having fun with the kids, we didn’t get a chance to take any of our own pictures.
Here is a video that one of our teachers, Kathy Murdoch, put together…

I saw this on my friend Alyssa’s blog and thought it would be fun to try! Growing up in New Orleans then living in Minnesota for almost 8 years I can see why I lost my accent! : )
| What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland
“You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.” You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

It’s hard to believe that my youngest is going to be 6 tomorrow.. she’s really a big kid now! It seems just like yesterday that she was born only weighing 4 lbs 9 oz at 6 weeks premature. She’s sure come along way since her 2 week stint in the NICU unit at St. John’s hospital.

When she was born, we were so concerned about her development and worried that she would have developmental issues like her older sister. She proved us wrong by growing by leaps and bound.

Today she’s an amazing kid coming into her own… she’s definitely a free spirit. She’s smart, caring, loves everyone and has a infectious laugh to boot. She definitely takes after her mom’s love of sports but has her dad’s creativity and love of art/drawing.

I have to admit it feels weird not to have “little ones” anymore in the house but all things must change right?
