Ok I don’t know if SGT Daddy wants me to share this or not here on the blog… but I’m going to do it anyway. He deserves it. (for the CRITICS – it was I that posted this … not my husband)

SGT Daddy was named Soldier of the Month in his unit newsletter!!!

Here is a snippet (*some things edited for OPSEC)

SGT Daddy*, a 68A Medical Equipment Repair Sergeant is known throughout the area* as the “Med maintenance man.”  SGT Daddy* has serviced over 300 pieces of equipment in the first quarter of the deployment, maxing the total number of equipment serviced by his predecessor.  SGT Daddy* is a leader amongst his peers and an example to Soldiers.  The focus and professionalism with which he executes his job has directly impacted the mission on hand.  He ensures that the medical equipment throughout the unit* is serviced and readily returned to a fully mission capable status.  His diligence minimizes the time equipment is unserviceable providing the medical professionals the resources they need to administer care.   His peers and Soldiers describe him as hardworking, intelligent, driven, reliable, and funny.  Although he misses his wife Tammy, and daughters *; SGT Daddy* enjoys helping customers.  In addition to his professional contribution, SGT Daddy*’s personality and witty sense of humor make him an integral well-liked member of the unit* family.
