Ok I should have kept my mouth shut about the deployment gremlins score. They decided to fight back yesterday.
My phone rang at 7A yesterday morning. At first I thought it might be SGT Daddy .. it wasn’t! It was the housing office here on post telling me that they had a water main break and my water was going to be shut off till 6pm. Talk about a great start to your day! NOT! It’s still not fixed and will be off all day again today.
Then, I was scheduled to have a online meeting with one of my consulting clients around noon. We’ll guess what… the internet goes out at 11:55! The kicker was that it came back on at 12:31 … 1 minute after the meeting ended.
I didn’t let it get to me too much. Although there were a few choice words and color adjectives coming from my mouth.
The bright spot in my day was SGT Daddy called last night and I got to talk to him for a whole 30 minutes. It was nice to talk to him on the phone instead of IM. (the internet is really slow where he is )
So here is to claiming that Day 5 WILL BE a better day! I’m going run some errands and do some shopping with my girls.
So my question for you is … How do you handle it when the deployment gremlins show up in full force???

A lot of prayer!! and just taking it one day at a time. And I cry a lot too lol!
Yeah not a great start to your day. It seems like internet always goes out when we have something important to do.
