No I’m not talking about Christmas… I’m talking about the Case Lot Sale at your local commissary! It’s that wonderful time of the year where you can get GREAT deals and stock up for the summer! My kids look forward to the Case Lot sale because that means summer is right around the corner.
I’ll be honest I look forward to the LAST case lot sale of the summer because that means that the new school year is right around is right around the corner.
According to DECA (Defense Commissary Agency ) :
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is sponsoring its first worldwide case lot sale of 2009 in May, offering about 100 more products than last year’s 260.

What do you buy? I rarely find good enough deals to justify the craziness. Just wondering…

We usually stock up on snacks, Capri Sun, Water, lunchables for the kids. We always got great deals at Belvoir. You’re right though.. it is craziness!
I may just brave the craziness this year. I’ve thought about it before, but this year, the kids are older & I could use some stocking up on summer items. Maybe I’ll ask around & see who goes, what they buy & if they think it’s a good deal. Who knows? Maybe I can get a veteran sale goer to let me tag-a-long with them??

GW – I don’t know about where you are but at Belvoir , they used to put out a list of all the sale items and prices. It was really helpful to map out our plan! : )
