Have I been hiding under a rock? well not really… just have been really busy with clients, getting in the back to school swing of things and trying to focus on the upcoming move.

Modern Man Media Summit -- here we come! But I really want to share my big announcement with all of you… Dan and I are heading down to Georgia. (oh yeah the kids are coming with us on this road trip )

No we are not moving there — We will be attending the Modern Man Media  Summit (aka M3Summit ) down in Atlanta next month.  This trip sort of came up unexpectedly but we are so happy to be attending thanks to Chevrolet and T-mobile, who are sponsoring our trip!(and of course Debbie Lawrence for getting this whole thing started! )

Why Chevy you ask?
Well — Dan and I were chosen  to be chosen to be a part of the Chevy Drive Team for the M3 Summit (#ChevyatM3) and we are so very honored. We will be driving (along with me tweeting, blogging, and recording videos) down to Georgia and back. We will be talking about/reviewing the Chevy Equinox. So stay tuned to the blog for more details and of course our trip!

The girls are even included in this little social media adventure as well. They will be reviewing the Gravity T cell phones sponsored T-mobile while on the road. They will be able to text and IM their friends (and family) and of course play games and watch YouTube videos on this road trip. They are really excited about this little project and now want a blog of their own. KK has plans for her own blog later on and Becky is planning a video for this! (I’m so proud of my Social Media Junkie Kids) Watch for the review blog post on that as well as Dan and I will be reviewing the Family Allowances package that T-mobile offers.

This is all so exciting for me that the  whole family is involved . The last number of years its has just been me and I haven’t really been able to share the the social media events/experiences with my family. I have to admit that I thought once the girls got older , my mommyblogging days were over but it looks like it is just beginning!  : )

Back to School – 2010 edition

by Tammy on August 17, 2010

KK and Beck ready for a new year! Well its one of my favorite times of the year — one where I get solid blocks of time to get work done with no interruptions! Yes, you gussed it  … it is Back to School Time! They started back last week and they are doing great!

It’s hard to believe that I have a 7th grader and a 3rd grader. These girls are growing up    way to fast! (not to mention almost as big as me! ) It seemed like yesterday that I was dropping Kiersten at Kindergarten and Beck at preschool.

By Chef Dave Zino, Executive Chef, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association It’s no secret that summer is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it: warm weather, fresh Farmer’s Markets, the opportunity to entertain at home and of course, it’s a prime time to fire up the grill and enjoy succulent lean steaks. There’s [...]

July 4, 2010

Happy Birthday America! Remember that for our troops overseas, it is just another day — there are no fireworks displays, BBQ’s , cold beer ,etc. If it wasn’t for them (past and present) we wouldn’t be enjoying the freedoms and liberties that we do have. Let’s say a special prayer for them and their families [...]
