Welcome ! Here you will find out a little bit about me …

Quite simply, I’m a  Video Game-playing, Hockey-loving, 30-something Mom and Army wife who has a newly inspired love of cooking and is  certainly not afraid to speak my mind. I grew up in New Orleans in a very vocal (and LOUD )  Italian family.

I have been married to the love of her life and the greatest father in the world,  Dan aka Mr. Fix It,  since 1998 and we have 2  daughters – lovingly referred to as Kid1 aka The Teen and Kid 2 aka The Tween .  Our family just recently moved to Mason City, IA following a 6 year gig as an active duty military family.

For the last 6 years, I  have been a full time blogger writing about being a mom to a special needs child , army life/ deployment and being a woman business owner. (I even blogged throughout my husband’s latest deployment to Afghanistan — some days it was my only outlet to vent )

However,  my true personal passion is blogging about my life , and connecting with others in my community . Nothing is off limits and be prepared for me to write about just about anything that crosses my path. After all , as I  always say, ” everything in life is content !”
